I own a pair of New Balance sneakers for jogging, but they’re like models that don’t do cocaine—nobody believes they exist.

What are the five fashion essentials every woman should have in her closet?

A very little black dress, a mink coat, a snakeskin clutch, big, glammy Jackie O glasses, and “fuck you”—not “fuck me”—heels,

Who is your style icon?

Before there was Posh and her ridiculous glam, there was jazz baby Daisy from The Great Gatsby.

What is the biggest fashion mistake a woman can make?

Not styling to make herself happy. Or wearing chunky heels less than four-inches tall.

What is your favorite outfit?

I’ve a bit of a uniform: a neo-flapper frock, four-inch heels, a snakeskin bag, a “K” initial necklace, and smoky eyes.

What is your favorite way to accessorize?

Too-tall heels, more for a masculine love of height and less out of a femme vanity for my legs, and some sort of glammy dead animal. Maybe a fur muff, if it’s summer and I’m going to a vegan café.

If you could give women a fashion tip to be fabulous what would it be?

Dress yourself so you want to have sex with yourself. Everyday.
