Elite designers such as Diane Von Furstenburg and Gwen Stefani took this to heart recently, and pressed charges. The strange thing is that this whole fashion infringement thing is really a very complicated issue. Designer Zac Posen has mixed feelings about the problems with copycats, but he still wants protection. Most companies/brands claim that they are just trying to stay "on-trend" when they are essentially stealing. However, this is truly what makes fashion amazing and forever evolving.
