HM Bridal Trends | Garden-Chic Wedding

Bridal trends for spring were not only seen on NY Bridal Fashion week, but draped over the RTW runway. I love the romantic combinations of muted and pale neutrals with light and airy fabrics. There are many themes for 2010 wedding styles and the major focus is on the obvious. For spring, floral and garden arrangements are key trends for bridal gowns and accessories. Light fabrics such as silk chiffon and organza are perfect for warm weather nuptials. Whatever the theme of your ceremony, nothing says romance like roses and floral appliqués. The detailing on wedding gowns consisted of gathered rosettes and silk coils to create a blooming affect. David’s Bridal incorporated flowers with feathers in bridal headpieces for a subtle, yet stylish touch to a more classic wedding dress. If you already have your dream wedding dress, but want to add pop of botanical flare, try going for a floral printed pair of wedding shoes that peep from underneath your gown, or printed sash. I love a pop of color in the traditional all-white gown, it's refreshing and unexpected.
