I can always count on Boston Proper for sexy basics and also THAT show stopping piece. The featured styles are my latest must haves from BP. I love the 3/4 sleeve sheath that fits like a glove and still looks sophisticated. it is perfect for lunch meetings as well as a long day at an office (although I have no idea what that's like). Style Tips | Dress Up Your Tees

I never usually wear tees, but recently I started embracing fun graphic tees by pairing them with my costume jewelry for a casual look that's still glamorous. This is an easy look for lazy Sundays.



I like to pair this "Mon Amour Paris" Tee from Forever 21 with this fab necklace also from Forever, it looks super cute with a mini as well as jeans.

Pair this basic white tank with a not so basic necklace from Forever 21 for a chic balance.
Keep It modern with this metal nugget necklace from Topshop paired with an x-ray print tunic.

TOPSHOP NYC

I went to Topshop a few weeks ago and I was not impressed. It really did not stand up to all the hype at all. The only pieces I would recommend you stock up on are the one shoulder tunics which are perfect for summer worn alone or with skinnys. I think I will stick to the little boutiques a few blocks down off Broadway and of course SCOOP right across the street.

BACK TO BASICS WITH BOSTON PROPER

Too many women today feel as if they have a closet full of clothes but nothing to wear. The culprit in my opinion for the "nothing to wear syndrome" is the lack of amazing basics that will tie your whole closet together. Giving you a foundation that you can build on with more eccentric and unique choices. I was searching for great basics and discovered Boston Proper. Think Victoria's Secret but with better quality and international/global sophistication. It's definitely my go to online boutique for reliable pieces that will take me from morning meetings all the way into dinner with the girls after five, whether I'm in New York or Cochin. Boston Proper is simple yet glamorous all at once and the best part is the pieces travel gloriously. You're bound to feel as put together as a jet-setter.

Embellished Azul Tunic: I Adore this gorgeous tunic for it's versatility. You can wear it at the beach as a sexy cover up or wear it with tan Bermuda shorts and bejeweled thongs and head out onto town. India was big on the runways for SS08 and this tunic is a perfect way to get in on the hot trend. Pair it with no jewelery or go all out with over sized bangles as seen here.

Little Black Dress: Okay so you probably have 20 little black dresses. I know I do but this one is different. For two reasons. The first being the criss-cross back. It's a great way to show skin without being gaudy. Also the breathable fabric is also great for hotter months and what's even better is it's perfect for travel since it cannot wrinkle. There are so many ways to wear this dress. You can dress it up or down. Definitely a must have.
