Beauty Buzz | FW09 Smokey Purple Eyes Via Estée Lauder

Smokey purple eyes are in call this season. I love this look because it's flattering on all women and sophisticated yet playful. I like to create my purple smokey eye looks using Estée Lauder's new fall line of amazing purple shadows.
Two of my favorite Estée Lauder shadows to create this look are are Amethyst Metallic (shimmery plum) and Onyx Matte (opaque black). I also love this great video tutorial which will help you achieve this haute look at home.

Get The Look: Smokey Eyes

Kate Moss, Zooey Deschanel, Mary Kate Olsen and Peaches do it. Do you? Smoky Eyes have always been the secret to success when thinking about the perfect 'sultry' look, gone are the days of full face glamour with red lips and coiffered hair to match as the new crop of moody looking fashionista's storm town. Kate Moss swears by a quick dash of black kohl for a night out, and we've never seen Carine Roitfeld without some on. Whether its a night out on the tiles or a night in with the boyfriend, smoky eyes spell sexy. Here is a video from our favorite YouTube makeup artist MakeupGeek that explains how to do a smokey eye.

Noir Is The New Black

We all know that pure black liners and mascaras give you the most luxurious and impactful eyes. Yet, it's so hard to find just that. The richest black possible. With that said, the search is over for me ever since I've found Noir. The first thing I adore about Noir is the fabulous packaging which is luxe and ultra hip. The products themselves are seamless and silky making the application of eyeliner that much easier. The Noir Jewel Box is one of my favorite products from the line. The eye shadows have just the right amount of shimmer for look-at-me eyes that will dazzle any crowd. Fall 2008 calls for dramatic eyes so stock up on black eyeliners, shadows and more from Noir. Dare to be dramatic.
