Over the knee boots are such a hot trend for fall. I usually wear thigh-high boots in the winter. They are so comfortable and versatile. You can wear them over skinny jeans, with mini skirts and tights and also with dresses. Here are some of my favorite styles from Chinese Laundry.

You've read all about them and now your all going crazy for them, knee high boots are the latest come back to hit the catwalk and we're dying for a pair. From Halston to Stella McCartney, they boots are back and higher than ever. So how do you work them without looking for a $6 cent hooker? Simply by following these rules:

1 Never pair leather boots with anything else leather.

2 Mix with styles, if the boots are heeled go for black tights to keep the focus on the feet and it will also elongate legs.

3 Buy a flat pair if your not confident with your walk, then decide on the heeled versions.

4 If your buying leather, don't go for glossed or patent leather. They will only make the shoes look less classy.

5Unless your wearing Fendi fur do not mix with a fur coat.
