From models to actresses and socialites in between, L’Atelier de Laurie serves as the salon of choice for NY stylistas. L’Atelier de Laurie is an intimate chateau like salon tucked away and decorated in fantastical antiques. A great departure from the almost robotic fifth ave salons, L’Atelier de Laurie offers a comforting atmosphere that's outlandishly romantic.

L’Atelier de Laurie is the creation of celebrity stylist Laurie Foley. My stylist at L’Atelier de Laurie, Mauricio is not a hairstylist but something more like an artist. He was able to lift my hair into a new dimension with a fabulous razor cut and stunning color L’Atelier de Laurie specializes in hair painting to obtain the most natural looking hair possible. Once you experience this fabulous salon you will fall in love. I am looking forward to my next visit.

The Best Of New York | Hair Color Via Louis Licari Salon

I literally spent five hours this afternoon at Louis Licari correcting my over processed hair. I was so bored with my jet black hair that I decided to take matters into my own hands and dye my hair a flaming red. I have to admit, I did like it, for a day but then I realized how horrible it looked against my olive skin. So I thought I'd turn to the pros at Licari. If you don't know by now Licari is by far the best salon for hair color in New York. Licari believes in natural and believable hair color that highlights and defines your features. My gorgeous stylist Shakira did an amazing job at bringing be back to my dark brown shade with a balayage process (free painting of highlights without foil) around my face for believable highlights, emphasis on believable. I highly recommend Licari to all of you fabulous people who like it haute from head to toe.

NY Beauty Guide: Shobha Threading Salon

Shobha is my favorite place to get my brows done, for two reasons. The first being, I love the colorful and exotic decor and second being the great service. A friend tipped me off about Shobha a while back and I'm forever grateful for her suggestion. Shobha is incredibly clean, inviting and beautiful. The staff is amazing and they are very professional and clinical which I really appreciate. They also offer also waxing (the best Brazilian in NY mind you), sugaring and facials.

Indian women are obsessed with threading because of the precision and definition it brings to brows. I always make it a point to have my eyebrows reshaped while vacationing in India so it's nice to get the same look here in NY.
