Mr. Hefner’s over presumptuous choice of clothing, has been the unlikely inspiration to kick off this year’s runway collections. The pyjama is back and as stylish as ever. Designers such Prada, Etro, Dries Van Noten and Junya Watanabe have all caught the night time bug. Miu Miu went a step further by suggesting we wear a pyjama top with a suite. That’s a tad bit ambitious, yet, I’m pretty sure that others will follow suit with remarkable creativity.
Silk still remains the idea choice for top draw PJ’s as suggested by a female friend of mine. I totally agree and wish nothing more than for men to sleep as well as they socialize. Cashmere is also a luxurious choice. Colors such as navy Blue, dark grey and emerald green, will help ensure a peaceful night but for a less peaceful night, may I suggest going for charming black or a deep seductive red.
