Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen launch Junior's collection for JCPenny

Style mavens and constant FRG's (Front Row Girls), twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have finally confirmed that they have designed a junior's line named OlsenBoye in patnership with JCPenny. They have joined the ranks of the likes of Kimora Lee Simmons and Charlotte Ronson who have also previously designed for JCPenny.

So what exactly does Olsenboye have to offer? Affordable casual sportswear and accessories. Yes, affordable. Remember the success of their clothing, bedding, furniture line with Dualstar Entertainment? Well, Ashley says " Olsenboye is an extension of the Dualstar brand and we feel this collaboration complements and strengthens our business portfolio."

We're sure it does.

Obviously, the fact that it's easily accessible will attract a lot of customers. The Row and Elizabeth and James (the twins' other two luxury lines) are gorgeous, albeit not that affordable.

Where will you be able to buy some of this stuff? By February, they will be available in 600 stores across the USA and up until then, at special pop up boutiques. For example, yesterday there was a mobile shopping truck driving across NYC selling merchandise and handing out cupcakes.

No better way to impress the juniors.

Reality television is taking over our lives; we must submit to this simple fact. And fashion is getting in on the "real" action with a host of series featuring high-profile fashionistas and wannabe style stars.

• The new SoapNet series, The Fashionista Diaries, will feature 6 fashion assistants at Flirt! Cosmetics, CosmoGirl! magazine (replacing Jane Magazine; the first 6 episodes will feature Jane, with the assistants moving to CosmoGirl!. The closure will be featured on the show) and fashion PR house Seventh House PR. It will chronicle the ups and downs and hectic schedule of fashion assistants as they plan a fashion show and afterparty for Charlotte Ronson during New York Fashion Week. It premieres August 1 on SoapNet.

• Kimora Lee Simmons is no stranger to the camera and premiering August 5 on the Style Network, you will get a close-up look at the supermodel and mogul as she works at her multi-billion dollar company, Baby Phat, takes care of her two young daughters and lives the fab life. Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane, should be a riotous showing of overtop glitz and glam, much of what Simmons is known for.
