Vogue's New Look?

Rumour has it that Vogue US will be having a Major turnover, with Anna Wintour's original vision completely wiped in order to create a new magazine which will respond to the falling ad sales. Bloggers, writers and all round fashionista's are saying the magazine will be less 'society' and more 'trendy' with new designers, unexpected storylines and of course a lot more high fashion than usual.Personally i'm excited to see the outcome and would love the magazine to move away from its celebrity obsession and go back to its roots. Bring on Cathy Horyn to replace Grace Coddington maybe and then we'll have a best seller.

I-D Magazine cuts back

Just in, we can exclusively tell you that I-D magazine has just announced in London they will be cutting back on the number of issues published. The magazine will now publish 6 issues per year, cutting back from 12. Now we've always been a fan of the more avante-garde I-D but this latest news is coming at a shock, will it be Vogue next?

ELLE France does blank canvas

Whilst the rest of the magazine world is telling us what to wear, what to buy and what to look like. French ELLE is telling us the opposite, celebrities and models have swapped foundation and Haute Couture for natural faces and simple clothing. The result? a fresh set of photos which make me, the reader, feel a lot better about not looking like Gisele every morning.
