Beauty Buzz | Bright Eyeshadow for SS10

I am ready for Spring! Especially the bright colors that come with the warm weather. This Spring, why not break out from your rut of neutrals and embrace color. My favorite eyeshadow colors for Spring 2010 include lime greens, pretty corals and deep blues. To get this look you can either get some great colors from Urban Decay or MAC but I prefer to use the Coastal Scents 88 Ultra Shimmer Palette. Get this, the palette is only $20.00. Now I know you are probably thinking that it's way too cheap to be great quality, at least that's what I thought but after trying it I was amazed how pigmented the shadows were and how satiny smooth they went on. I like to use Laura Geller's Eye Spackle underneath to keep the colors truer. the look featured is from the Gucci catwalk.

Passage To India Via Givenchy Beauté SS09

I am anxiously awaiting the Givenchy SS09 India collection which features the ultimate color combo for the season, pink and orange. These two colors look superb on tanned skin and will make you look radiant, fresh and most of all au courant. Here are some images of the products from the collection. I'm mostly intrigued by the gold and silver liquid eye shadows called precious sari eye shadows which will look ridiculously glamorous at night offering lots of shine and shimmer.

J. Lynne Ultra Intensity Mineral Eyeliner

As much as I love my luxury cosmetics, I'm also on the look out for new indie brands to spice up my makeup routine. A new favorite is J.Lynne cosmetics. The brand promotes natural, cruelty free makeup. The eco-friendly line offers some amazing products at great prices. One of my favorites from J.Lynne are the Ultra Intensity Mineral Eyeliners. They come in a variety of colors but my favorites are Tigress (golden brown), Vamp (jet black) and Drama Queen (true purple). I blend a little of the powder with a drop of water and apply with an eyeliner brush. It's a great way to add a fun color to your eyes without looking over the top. Instead you'll look sophisticated yet ultra hip. View the entire collection here.

ColorOn Eye Envy- Exotic Kit

We all wish we had a personal makeup artist. Well, now you can be your own makeup artist and create dazzling eye looks that look as if they're straight from the catwalk. How? With the new eyeshadow applique kit called Eye Envy by ColorOn you can have professional eye makeup just as easily as you can put on a temporary tattoo. You can take a look at the whole application process here. Each kit comes with five pairs of peel-off mineral eye shadows a setting powder and eyeshadow brush to blend. It really is fantastic. It's definitely a new must have for me especially for events and parties. My favorite of all the kits is of course the exotics since it has couture like animal print designs which look amazingly avant garde on the eyes. Be careful not to over do the rest of your makeup if you choose to go this dramatic on the eyes. There are a variety of kits to choose from so if you want a more subtle look, theres also a kit for you too. The fabulous Eye Envy kits are available at Sephora. I suggest you stock up and prepare to have everyone asking who did your makeup.BEAUTY

Vincent Longo Spring 2008

My love affair with Vincent Longo cosmetics started when I discovered their creamy lipsticks a few years ago. I had always associated Vincent Longo with classic Italian luxury and I also now depend on Vincent Longo to give me make-up looks that are ahead of the pack as well as classy and sophisticated all at the same time. The products are of amazing quality and last for hours after application and the colors are rich and chic. I am very excited about showcasing Vincent Longo's latest C-Scope collection launched for SS08 which I adore. The colors are vibrant and so outrageously rich. From the vibrant blue mascara with matching vibrant liners, to the ultra shiny and ultra glamourous lip vinyl. Here are my favorite products as well as the colors I recommend all available at Sephora. Goda Di. beauty
