Beauty Buzz | DuWop Cosmetics

I never really used DuWop cosmetics before, I remember my sister used to be obsessed with their Lip Venom but I never tried it out for myself till last week. I am actually impressed with the quality of the products as well as the effectiveness. Here are some of my favorites from DuWop that you should get your hands on too:

Twilight Lip Venom Blush is the new shade of the cult fave, Lip Venom. This serum not only plumps up your puckers but also adds a hint of pink to your lips. You can build up the color for your desired look. I was surprised by how fast my lips plumed up and the rosy hue compliments the Bronze Goddess look I am going for these days. (Via Sephora.com)

I have naturally tan olive skin thanks to my Indian origin but there are days when I become super pale due to lack of sun exposure so I love self tanner. Duwop Revolotion is really a fabulous body bronzer that laves you gorgeously tan. You simply rub the lotion on your arms, legs etc and wait for it to dry. The lotion is tinted so it's instant gratification. The built in SPF 15 is also a major plus. (Via Sephora)

Beauty Buzz | Haute New Beauty Company Coastal Scents

Whether you're new to makeup or if you have every single MAC collection you will love the Coastal Scents 88 Ultra Shimmer Eye-Shadow Palette. I've had my palette for about a month now and I love creating fun and trendy looks using the bright, bold and fresh colors. When I shop for makeup I usually stick to neutrals and "safe" colors like pink or blue from high-end brands so the 88 palette allows me to have an amazing collection of fun colors I normally wouldn't buy. This palette is great to have in your own makeup collection and makes a great gift for a beauty junkie as well. My favorite shades are the bright violets (as seen on models in Gucci's SS09 Ads). Sparkle, Dazzle and Shine For Eyes

Nothing is more glamorous than eyes that light up the night. Here are my new favorite loose eye shadows that give ultra shimmery but never gaudy dazzle to eyes.

Becca Cosmetics Jewel Dust
This loose eyeshadow shimmer powder is great over a matte shadow or worn alone wet. My favorite color is a beautiful sky blue in Nerida which will brighten and widen your eyes. A big bonus is that these Jewel Dust shadows are super sparkly and perfect for parties.

Dex Mineral Loose Pigment Eye Shadow

Great for everyday wear and the best part is these loose pigment eye shadows are infused with palmitoyl hexapeptide-14 which aids in cellular turnover. A fun trick is to mix a little bit of the pigment with your lotion for a beautiful shimmery sheen.

J. Lynne Ultra Intensity Mineral Eyeliner

As much as I love my luxury cosmetics, I'm also on the look out for new indie brands to spice up my makeup routine. A new favorite is J.Lynne cosmetics. The brand promotes natural, cruelty free makeup. The eco-friendly line offers some amazing products at great prices.

One of my favorites from J.Lynne are the Ultra Intensity Mineral Eyeliners. They come in a variety of colors but my favorites are Tigress (golden brown), Vamp (jet black) and Drama Queen (true purple). I blend a little of the powder with a drop of water and apply with an eyeliner brush. It's a great way to add a fun color to your eyes without looking over the top.
